ATTIRE:
IF A STUDENT IS NOT IN PROPER ATTIRE, THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TAKE CLASS.

• No street clothing (i.e., jeans, shorts, sweatpants) or oversized t-shirts allowed, except for HipHop
• Required dance shoes and attire for their class and level must be worn.
• Hair must be kept tied back and secured at all times for all classes unless otherwise specified by instructor.
• No dangling jewelry may be worn.

All dance attire is available at GiGi's Dancewear 375 Jaques Avenue in Rahway (732)340-9301.

BALLET STUDENTS:
Ballet pink tights, pink ballet slippers and the uniform leotard by MotionWear (color & style) for their level.  Hair must be tied neatly in a bun.  There will be periodically announced dress down days when students can be out of uniform and wear a different leotard, ballet skirts, leg warmers, etc.

• Pre-school: Plain white leotard (no attached skirts)
• Pre-school/Kinder Ballet: Plain pink leotard (no attached skirts)
• Kinder Ballet: Plain pink leotard (no attached skirts)
• Ballet I: Plain light blue leotard (no attached skirts)
• Ballet II: Dark blue leotard
• Ballet III: Burgundy leotard
• Ballet IV/V: Royal blue leotard
• Intermediate Ballet I: Pacific (blue) leotard
• Intermediate Ballet II: Black leotard
• Int/Adv: Red leotard
• Advanced: Black leotard
• Pointe: Level appropriate color leotard (skirts permitted)
• Jr. & Sr. Co. Ballet: Black leotard

LYRICAL STUDENTS:
Any color & style leotard, footless tights & Capezio FootUndeez (H07/H07C)
Int/Adv & Sr. Co. Lyrical: same as above & Dance Paws. May wear fitted tops & dance pants.

Jr. Co. Lyrical:
Any color & style leotard, footless tights & Dance Paws

TAP STUDENTS:
No street clothing (i.e., jeans, shorts, sweatpants) or oversized t-shirts allowed. Appropriate tap shoes for their level must be worn.

• Tiny Tappers: Any color & style leotard, tights, & black Mary Jane tap shoes (Bloch S0352G)
  
  
• All other levels: Black tights or black dance pant, black leotard or black fitted shirt & black, full sole, tie up, tap oxford
  

JAZZ STUDENTS:
Any color leotard. No oversized t-shirts or street clothes allowed. Must wear tights or fitted dance pants. Spandex shorts are allowed with tights. Appropriate jazz shoes for their level must be worn.

• Beginner Jazz - Jazz II: Any color & style leotard, tights, & black slip on ankle boot (Capezio CG05/CG05C)

GYMNASTICS STUDENTS:
Must wear a leotard and may wear footless tights and spandex shorts. Students must have bare feet for tumbling. Socks are allowed when stretching.

HIP HOP STUDENTS:
Should wear comfortable street clothing that one can move in. Sneakers or dance shoes should be worn.
