DANCE COMPANY

Across the Floor’s Dance Company was formed in January 2006.   There are Three Divisions:  Mini, Junior & Senior.   Being a part of the Company requires a higher level of commitment to excellence all year.  Being a Company member is a big commitment for the dancer and the parent.  Regular attendance in class, at rehearsals and summer requirements are just a part of the responsibilities.

Now, our first official year of entering the competitive dance world comes to an end this month.  After much hard work and dedication, Across the Floor’s Dance Company showed continued improvement in all areas, earning higher scores at each competition.  Our first competition was NYCDA in the Meadowlands where the dancers not only competed, but participated in two days of master classes from some of the industry’s most talented faculty including Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Ivan Koumaev & Joey Dowling.  Dancers went on to compete at the Regional Competitions for Headliners and Showstoppers earning high scores and top awards all around in both the Senior and Junior Divisions.  Based on their performances, the Company was invited to participate in the National Competitions as well.

Thank you to all the dancers for all  your hard work, the parents for all your dedication, and the teachers for outstanding choreography!

Company Auditions were held in early May and the 07-08 Company members will soon be announced.
