Our instructors teach the latest styles as well as bring the discipline of the oldest techniques to your child.In addition, our faculty holds degrees in the performing arts, have strong teaching credentials, and continue to work professionally in the industry.
At Across the Floor, each instructor cares about helping every student develop self-confidence, poise, and the concentration needed to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Our teachers have worked professionally on stage with Michael Jackson, Marc Antony, 3LW, and many others. Other credits include MTV Music Awards, Knicks City Dancers, Broadway Tours, The Rockettes, 30 Rock and SNL.

SARA REYNOLDS - OWNER/DIRECTOR/INSTRUCTOR
Miss Sara is a professional dancer who has studied with The Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Tech in NYC. Her impressive credits include being featured in the 30th Anniversary Special with Michael Jackson, touring with 3LW and dancing for Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, Brian McKnight, Missy Elliott, and others. She can be seen on the Jock Jams CD cover, & was in TV commercials for Burger King and Addidas. Her TV credits include appearing on Saturday Night Live and in music videos for Musiq, Whitney Houston & Enrique Iglesias. A former NY Knicks City Dancer and the Captain for the WNBA Liberty Dance Team, her talents have taken her to perform at the Olympics in Barcelona, the NFC Championship Game at Giants Stadium, the MTV Music Awards at Lincoln Center, and the WKTU “Miracle on 34th Street” show at Madison Square Garden. Recently, she choreographed and performed internationally as a backup dancer for recording artist Lumidee and her hit single “She’s Like the Wind”. Miss Sara has over 20 years of teaching experience in all forms of dance and gymnastics. As the artistic director and head of faculty, she guides our new instructors and the rest of our talented teaching staff. Highly educated, Miss Sara also has a Bachelor in Nursing. Miss Sara’s newest “gig” is tending to the needs of her beautiful baby girl Leilani.

CHERYL COREJ - OWNER/DIRECTOR
Miss Cheryl, a former competitive NCAA gymnast from Rutgers, is a seasoned performer and choreographer. With over 18 years of teaching experience, Miss Cheryl heads our gymnastics staff and continues to inspire our students in and out of the classroom. She danced extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area in regional and community theater in shows such as Anything Goes, Showboat and Guys & Dolls. In addition, Miss Cheryl choreographed numerous shows for the Palo Alto Children’s Theater and Summer Stock Company. After earning her bachelors degree from Rutgers College, Miss Cheryl furthered her training in acting in NYC and San Francisco. While Miss Cheryl continues to focus on running Across the Floor offsite and behind the scenes, she is thrilled to get back to the teaching in the classroom whenever she can.

MISS LINDSEY BROTSCHOL - INSTRUCTOR/RECEPTIONIST
Miss Lindsey began at ATF as a student. Even at a young age, it was obvious that Lindsey had talent and leadership skills that eventually led her to become our First Teaching Apprentice in Gymnastics. Now, in her 7th year as an instructor, her popularity continues to grow as young gymnasts strive for perfection. Miss Lindsey focuses on teaching the basics to all ages. Last year she took on a new challenge by training ATF’s Int/Adv level gymnasts. She received an Associates Degree from Berkeley College, where she attended on two academic scholarships. She is currently pursuing a degree in physical education at Kean University. When she’s not in the class room, she can be found helping our clients in the reception area.

COURTNEY CULVER - INSTRUCTOR/STUDIO COORDINATOR
Miss Courtney first started gymnastics at age 3, but began her serious training at ATF when she was age 10. She has become one of ATF’s prized gymnasts. Her commitment and dedication earned her a position as a teaching apprentice, leading her to become an instructor for the past six years. Miss Courtney’s level of maturity, as a young instructor is evident in the high expectations she has for her students. Miss Courtney can often be found at Chelsea Piers with Miss Lindsey, where they continue to train and improve their gymnastics skills. During her training, Miss Courtney was a teaching assistant for several years.She has also been a counselor for ATF’s summer camp for the past four years. Last year, Miss Courtney graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science. When she’s not teaching, Miss Courtney is vital to the running of ATF behind the scenes as the Studio Coordinator.

TIM GORDON - INSTRUCTOR
Tim is a professional dancer who has been teaching Tap and Hip-Hop at ATF for the past nine years. He has danced with the NJ Tap Ensemble which specializes in keeping tap “alive”. Tim is a seasoned performer and has toured all over the world performing for recording artists such as Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, & Gwen Stefani. He has been seen in a number of music videos and TV commercials. Tim’s performance credits include the Essence Awards at Radio City Music Hall & the Brit Awards in London. As an instructor, Tim has refined his skills over the years to become a highly experienced teacher. His unique style and personality allow him to interact so well with children of all ages making him a hot commodity. Tim keeps his feet wet by continuing to audition and take gigs which allow him to bring those experiences back to benefit his students in the classroom. He founded his own dance company, TG Gordon Dance Company, established in North Bergen. Recently, several of his members were semi-finalists on the 2nd season of “America’s Best Dance Crew”. In addition, Tim choreographs for ATF’s Dance Company earning Platinum level awards. Recently, Tim became a Dad to "Timmy Jr." with his wife Allison.

SUSIE GORMAN - INSTRUCTOR
Broadway credits: Movin' Out Broadway National Tour
At the age of six, Susanne Gorman started her training at the
Miller-Marley Schools of Dance and voice and the State Ballet of
Missouri. From there, she went on to train with the School of American
Ballet, the Pacific Northwest Ballet and the American Ballet Theater.
She has performed with such companies as The State Ballet of Missouri;
Mia Michael's R.A.W.; The Wes Veldink Movement; Journey Dance Company
NY; Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and has just finished a three year
tour with the 1st National Tour of Twyla Tharp's "Movin' Out". She also
has a huge passion for teaching and choreography. She thanks her
family, teachers, and her friends for always believing in her and her
talent.

MISS IVETTE SOSA - INSTRUCTOR
New to Across the Floor, Miss Ivette began dancing at age 3 and has always had a passion for musical theater. She has performed in numerous regional theater productions including Will Rodgers Follies, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, The Robber Bridegroom, and Funny Girl. She co-wrote and starred in three cabaret shows in New York City and has performed at the famed La Scalla Opera House in Milan, Italy. Ivette had her sights set on making it to Broadway and actually had an offer to join the Broadway cast of Rent when she got the news that she had been selected as a member of the 5 girl Popstars group, Eden's Crush. The group toured with NSync and Jessica Simpson while dazzling fans at concerts and radio appearances across the country. Her television credits include appearances on Even Stevens, Sabrina the Teenage Witch as well as numerous television commercials and music videos. She appeared in a featured role in the 20th Century Fox motion picture Chasing Papi, performed in an original one-woman show she wrote entitled, Confessions of a Former Pop Star, and worked as an understudy with the Broadway cast of Latinologues. Ivette is also pursuing various other theater, television and film projects.

MISS KRISTIN SUDEIKIS - INSTRUCTOR
Miss Kristin is an accomplished dancer, choreographer and instructor in NYC. After studying dance in Kansas City and at the University of Kansas, she went on to receive numerous dance scholarships in both NYC and LA. Most recently, she finished a successful run of her first full length dance production in NYC entitled "Even in Silence...". She is looking forward to an encore performance set for late October. Some recent television work includes filming a spot on the NBC hit 30 ROCK, where she is credited as the choreographer and appeared as “the Hip Hop Instructor.” Kristin also filmed a Heinz Ketchup commercial as well as the TV pilot “Get Your Groove On, the Search for America’s hottest freestyle dancer.” She has recently been featured in Dance Teacher Now Magazine, Dance Life Magazine, Shape Magazine and Self Magazine. Kristin has enjoyed studying with and performing under the direction of well known choreographers such as Ann Reinking (Fosse Technique), with The Broadway Theatre Project, Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore and Jaime King. One of her favorite opportunities was dancing an original work set by Wes Veldink which was debuted at The Broadway Dance Center Showcase. She continues to travel throughout the US setting original choreography on dance companies and teaching Master Classes. Her choreography has won numerous artistic awards. Kristin’s teaching style is set apart for its focus on musicality, using one’s body as their instrument, one’s athleticism, technique and an open heart. MISS JESSICA SYLVESTER - INSTRUCTOR/RECEPTIONIST
Miss Jessica is another ATF graduate who joined our teaching staff two years ago. She has a strong classical ballet background and was excited to become an instructor to the “little ones” and younger students, giving them their foundation and ballet fundamentals. Miss Jessica is currently attending Marymount College in New York, earning a BFA in dance. She has performed in several pieces in her school’s productions and despite her active dance schedule and rehearsals, she makes time to teach her students at ATF.

MISS JESSICA WILLIAMSON -INSTRUCTOR/RECEPTIONIST
Miss Jessica is an ATF Graduate and has remained highly involved in ATF in various ways since graduating. She joined our teaching staff three years ago after having been a teaching assistant to our younger students for many years. While she is able to drill technique to all levels of students, Miss Jessica’s special focus is in teaching students in our First Position Program,” as well as our beginner level students, giving them their introduction to ballet and lyrical. In addition, with the level of multi-disciplinary training she received at ATF, Miss Jessica is a dependable substitute for all of our classes. She is also one of our newer administrative assistants, and is always ready to lend a hand. Currently, Miss Jessica is pursuing a degree in physical education at Kean University.

MISS JESSICA LOMBARDI - INSTRUCTOR
Miss Jessica is thrilled to be teaching at Across the Floor. She brings years of performance experience to the classroom with Regional credits that include Graziella in the European Tour of West Side Story, Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, Mitzi and Dance Captain for Crazy for You, and Texas in Cabaret. Other favorites include: La Cage Aux Folles, Damn Yankees, Grease, and Little Women. Off Broadway, Jessica was seen in Marcus is Waking, Cotton Girls, The Brothers Menaechmus, Lives of the Great Waitresses, Spooktacular 2000, and The Great Debate. She choreographed and directed a mainstage production of Chicago for Otterbein College as well as dance sequences for Snow White and the 7 Dwaves for Cleveland Signstage. She received her B.F.A. in Theater Performance from Otterbein College.
